Industrial agitators for reliable process outcomes

Agitator configurations developed around flow pattern, rheology, solids loading, shear requirement and vessel geometry.

GIE / 03

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Configured around the operating duty.

Galaxy configures industrial agitators for blending, homogenisation, solids suspension, gas–liquid dispersion, reaction and heat-transfer duties. Standard and customised arrangements bring the drive, shaft, seal, impeller and vessel geometry together as one mixing system.

CONFIGURATION RANGE

A practical equipment family - not a one size fits all unit.

01

Gas–liquid systems

Hydrogenators and carbonators designed to promote gas dispersion and liquid circulation.

02

High-viscosity mixing

Agitator geometries for products whose rheology limits bulk movement and heat transfer.

03

Dispersers & homogenisers

Rotor–stator, high-speed and twin-shaft arrangements for wetting, dispersion and intensive mixing.

04

Utility & slurry mixers

Mechanical circulators, side-entry, FGD, ETP and liquid–solid slurry mixer configurations.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Where this equipment works.

  • Antibiotics, antiseptics and disinfectants
  • Shampoos, lotions, creams and perfumes
  • Chemical blending and reaction control
  • Seed, inoculum and fermentation holding tanks

ENGINEERING INPUTS

What we need to define it.

  • Process objective and required flow pattern
  • Viscosity, density and solids loading
  • Batch volume, vessel proportions and internals
  • Shear sensitivity, heat-transfer duty and blending time
  • Materials of construction and sanitary finish
  • Seal, drive, support and maintenance access
